Hi, I'm Amanda.

I'm a Product Designer, and my job is to turn complex products into simple experiences for the people who use them. Before opening Figma, I ask a lot of questions. Then I decide with data and use AI to move faster, from first sketch to handoff.

Besides that, I'm from Rio Grande do Norte and I love the beach, forró pé-de-serra, frescobol and a good conversation. I'm also great at crosswords.

How I got here

From 191 to Figma

Before design, I answered calls at the Federal Highway Police (PRF) emergency center. There I created a call-handling manual that became the guide for everyone who joined the team. Spoiler: I was already doing UX without knowing it.

I graduated in Geography at UFRN (yes, Geography), started in design at SouJunior and did a postgraduate degree in UX. Today I design products, mainly in banking and real estate.

Bachelor's degree in Geography · UFRN

What drives me

I want to give back the mentoring I received

I started at SouJunior and saw up close how much good mentoring changes everything. My plan: become a reference in AI interfaces and in getting teams to communicate well, and bring along people who are just starting out, especially women.

Shall we talk?

If you want to talk about design, research or opportunities, just reach out. Beach tips for Natal are welcome too.
